A lot of people, kids and adults have problem with their bowel movement. If their stool is not hard, it’s really soft to the point that it’s watery. To suffer from that is something really frustrating because it also gives a bad feeling like cramps and all. Because of this, learning about snacks that could help regulate bowel movement can be really beneficial.
- Fruits can greatly help in regulating bowel movement as they are rich in fiber. Some fruits include apples, bananas, pears, prunes and oranges. For fruits like apples and pears, leaving the skin on would be better to have more fiber content.
- Eating vegetables is also a great way to regulate bowel movement. Many people don’t really like to eat them especially kids but they can really help. People can make snacks like broccoli and zucchini salad. They could also make carrot and cabbage with some light dressing. They could try making corn and pea salad with bread.
- Aside from fruits and vegetables, people can also enjoy other snacks like almonds, pumpkin breads, raisins and such that are rich in fiber. If they want, they can add raisins and almonds to their morning or afternoon cereals and add some pumpkin bread at the side.
There are so many foods that could help regulate bowel movement it’s just a matter of knowing them. Of course, not all of them would taste good for everyone so people should choose the ones they like or at least try to get used to eating things they don’t like by looking for recipes that would make them taste better.
